AB European Real Estate Fund has secured a new 6-year extension with DHL Express in Luxembourg, commencing on January 1, 2021 and ending on December 31, 2026.
DHL Express is the market leader in express transport services and is part of Deutsche Post Group (world’s leading postal and logistics Group). The company is currently leasing approx. 2,385 sqm of warehouse space and approx. 1,458 sqm of office space in this high quality warehouse that was designed specifically for its needs in 2005.
Ideally located in the heart of Luxembourg close to the national airport and its Cargocenter, this asset is the central hub of DHL in Luxembourg. The premises is hosting a call-center, other administrative functions as well as a sorting center.
This asset is part of AB European Real Estate Fund portfolio since inception in 2016 and this new lease extension reflects the quality of the asset management initiatives to build long-term and solid tenant relationships.
